January 4 -Transfer to your hotel. Lviv is famous for its unique beauty, monuments, and variety of architectural styles. The central part of Lviv, “The Old Town”, is full of narrow cobbled stone streets, magnificent churches and lovely homes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon explore the Historic City Centre. Euro Hotel (BB)

 

January 5 - A city tour of this unspoiled Jewel in Europe with your knowledgeable local guide includes Independence Prospect, the Ethnographic museum, stunning Opera Theater, Assumption Church., Italian Court, Market Square, ancient Armenian quarter and University.Check in and spend the afternoon sightseeing at the artisan Bazaar and enjoying the panoramic view of Lviv from Vysokyj Zamok. January 6 – A day trip to The Majestic Carpathian Mountains. Witness the preparations of Christmas Eve dinner. Partake in an age old Christmas Eve Supper called “Svyata Vecheria” steeped in tradition this dinner features 12 traditional meatless dishes. Enjoy the tradition of Koliady as carolers Ukrainian Carollers perform. After dinner you will have an opportunity to attend midnight mass. Stay at the Euro Hotel (BB)

 

January 7 -Enjoy Ukrainian Christmas Day celebrations in Lviv’s historic downtown. See the Vertep competition. Verteps are traditional nativity plays performed enthusiasticly by Lviv’s youth. The afternoon is free time to explore the Christmas bazaar and enjoy pedestrian friendly Lviv. Attend the “Great Carol” Festival at the Dominican Cathedral and the “Fire” performance “Christmas Feeria” at the entrance to City Hall. In the evening visit the many charming Lviv coffee houses. January 8 -- Sightseeing city tour continues: with ancient Lviv, St. Georges Cathedral, the old drug store and armory and historic Lychakivsky Cemetery In the Afternoon partake in the Pampushok Festival (Doughnut Festival) at Rynok Square with unique games and contests .Overnight Train to Kyiv (BB)

 

January 9 -Arrive in Kyiv in the early morning. Kyiv is the 1500-year-old capital of Ukraine, a city rich in architectural and historical sites. Check into the Ukrajina Hotel. Spend the afternoon on a tour of golden domed Kyiv. See Independence Square; the Verhkovna Rada, St. Vladymyrs Cathedral, Kyiv Opera. Theatre, the Golden Gate (the main triumphal entrance of ancient Kyiv) famous red University, and Shevchenko Monument. (BB,) In the evening explore Kyiv’s main street of Kreschatyk

 

January 10- Our panoramic tour of Kiev continues as we visit to the city`s main highlights., St.Sophia’s 11c. master piece of world architecture and arts, St. Archangel Michael’s Golden Domes Monastery built in 12th century as well as many famous monuments and landmarks ( BB)

 

January 11-Enjoy some free time to shop on the tourist friendly St. Andrew’s descent. (Andriyivsky Uzviz) The most ancient and steep street in Kiev, Andriyivsky Uzviz, features Art galleries, shops, and studios a wonderful place to shop for Ukrainian crafts and artworks. Also see the spectacular 5 domed St. Andrews Church, Bartolomeo Rastrelli’s architectual masterpiece. In the Afternoon visit the Kyiv Pecherska Lavra (11-19 century) Ukraine’s largest active monastery and and sacred place for the Orthodox faith. Visit its cathedrals, museums, exhibitions and enter into the famous burial caves. ( BB).

 

January 12- Transfer to Borispol Airport. Depart from Kyiv Borispol Airport on your International flight
