Day 1

13th Sept (KYIV)

The Arrival

Arrive in Kyiv – the 1500-year-old capital city of Ukraine. Kyiv is a city rich in architectural and historical sites and is one of the most beautiful capitals of Eastern Europe.

Check into your centrally located hotel and meet up with your tour director and travel companions/group.

Enjoy the evening/night with our “Welcome to Ukraine Supper.”

Spend your first night in this gorgeous city exploring Independence Square and Kyiv’s main street of Kreshchatyk with its many outdoor cafes & beautiful shops.

Day 2

14th Sept (KYIV)

The Golden Tour

Fuel up on breakfast at your hotel in preparation for an adventurous day exploring Kyiv on a tour of this golden-domed City

Today, we witness the magnificent Golden Gates, Kyiv Opera Theatre, Red University, and the Taras Shevchenko Monument.

After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, you have your much-needed free time to explore the bustling city of Kyiv. You can go shopping, catch a movie at a Ukrainian cinema, or relax at one of the many quaint cafes.

Day 3

The Arts & Architecture

15th Sept (KYIV)

After a wonderful breakfast at your hotel, we continue touring Kyiv, beginning with the magnificent St. Sophia’s Cathedral which is an architectural memorial of Kvyian Rus, Ukraine’s biggest landmark, and is the first official heritage site in Ukraine. Keep your cameras ready for this one!

Explore the world of arts & architecture further with guided visits to St. Andrews Church, Rastrelli’s masterpiece, and more. Be sure to keep your cameras ready to click!

After lunch, you can enjoy some free time to shop on the tourist-friendly St. Andrew’s descent.

After dinner, board an overnight train to the beautiful city of Lviv.

Day 4

16th Sept (LVIV)

Feel Alive in Lviv!

Transfer from the train station, check into your hotel and enjoy some tasty breakfast.

Lviv is famous worldwide for its unique beauty, monuments, and variety of architectural styles.

The central part of Lviv, “The Old Town,” is full of narrow cobbled stone streets, magnificent churches and is an official UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon climb up high castle to take in one-of-a-kind views. Exploe the shops and beautiful monuments of independence Prospect.

Day 5

LIVE IN LVIV!

17th Sept (LVIV)

Enjoy your breakfast and begin our well-planned sight-seeing city tour of this unspoiled Jewel in (Eastern) Europe.

This day includes tours of the Independence Prospect, stunning Opera Theatre, Assumption Church, Italian Court, Market Square, Ancient Armenian quarter University, the Old Drug Store, and the historic Lychakivsky Cemetery.

Once we’re back at the hotel, you have the rest of the day to do as you please. Some of the things you can do are explore the charming Lviv coffee houses, beautiful museums, go shopping on the Prospect, or just laze around by yourself or with your fellow travelers.

Day 6

18th Sept (LVIV/CHERNIVTSI)

Some More Ukrainian Delight

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then head to pick up some souvenirs or visit one of the many flavorful coffee houses in Lviv.

In the afternoon, we move towards Chernivtsi via Ivano-Frankivsk.

Enjoy tasty traditional lunch in the charming town of Ivano-Frankivsk while on your way to Chernivtsi.

Arrive in Chernivtsi by late evening, check into your hotel, and have a delightful & relaxed Bukovynian festive dinner with folklore performances.

Day 7

19th Sept (CHERNIVTSI)

The Walk of Stars in little
Vienna

After Breakfast, we depart for a city tour of Chernivtsi, which includes the walk of stars, opera theatre, the spectacular University, and the famous Rynok Square.

Enjoy lunch in Chernivtsi and then leave for Romania through the flush and gorgeous countryside of the Carpathian Mountains.

Arrive in the town of Suceava at night for Supper and spend an overnight here.

Day 8

20th Sept (SUCEAVA/BRASOV, ROMANIA)

The Romanian Mountain Experience

Enjoy the mountain sunrise, have your breakfast, and then travel to Brasov, a town fringed by the peaks of the Southern Carpathian Mountains filled with gothic, baroque, and renaissance architecture. Also, enjoy all of the historic architecture along with the best parts of the town.

Because Brasov is one of Romania’s most popular and visited places, you simply cannot leave without spending at least two nights here.

Day 9

21st Sept (BRASOV)

The Dracula Experience in Transylvania

The second morning begins with a lovely tour of some more historical parts in Brasov. Today, you will witness the old town’s city hall, black churches, seven walled citadels, and a lot more along the way.

In the afternoon, we visit the famous Bran Castle, the inspiration for Bram Stokers’ fictional story, Dracula. The Castle was built in 1211 by the Teutonic Knights and is tucked in steep cliffs between Magura and Dealul Cetatii that once served as a base/home to the royal family.

Enjoy some elegant dinner at your hotel and spend your second night in Brasov.

Day 10

22nd Sept (BRASOV/ BUCHAREST)

The Rest & Relaxation Day

After breakfast at your hotel, we will travel to Bucharest, Romania’s capital and commercial center.

Today would be a relaxed day so you can spend some quality time with yourself or your loved ones.

Day 11

23rd Sept (BUCHAREST)

BUCHA! BUCHA! BUCHA!

Today will be all about the bustling and buzzing city of Bucharest! The city is widely known for its wide, tree-lined boulevards, glorious Belle Époque buildings, and many more. Soak in as much of the Romanian metropolitan vibe as you can.

Today’s city tour would cover the Stavropoleos Convent, Ruins of Vlad’s Citadel, Manuc’s Inn, Palace of Parliament, Revolution Spots, and the Victory Boulevard.

Day 12

BUCHA! SOME MORE!

24th Sept (BUCHAREST)

Day two in Bucharest includes a tour of the Place of Parliament and other surrounding structures and spots.

Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore the many galleries, museums, quaint shops, and cafes in the more ancient part of the city known as Old Town.

Day 13

25th Sept (BUCHAREST/ SOFIA, BULGARIA)

The BUCHA-BULGA Combo

Have your breakfast and travel to Sofia, the capital of the Balkan Nations in Bulgaria. Arrive late afternoon, check into your hotel, have some snacks, and relax.

Day 14

26th Sept (SOFIA, BULGARIA)

OH SOFIA! She’s Got Our
Hearts!

Today we explore Bulgaria’s largest city and capital, Sofia, a cosmopolitan town with ancient history displaying a mixture of European and Eastern styles along with many beautiful churches and captivating museums. The city’s landmarks reflect more than 2,000 years of history, and features 16 universities, theatres, and other stark Roman remains.

Our complete sight-seeing of the city center includes the Rotund Church “St. George,” the basilica “St. Sofia,” and the fabulous cathedral “St. Alexander Nevski.” During this tour, you will be able to experience and thoroughly soak in the whole atmosphere of this beautiful city.

Bring your trip’s last night evening/night to a memorable close with a farewell dinner of local Bulgarian cuisine and some groovy entertainment.

Day 15

27th Sept (SOFIA/CANADA)
