Day 1
The Ukrainian Arrival
27th May (HOME COUNTRY/ KYIV)
Arrive in Kyiv – the 1500-year-old capital city of Ukraine.
Kyiv is a city rich in architectural and historical sites and is one of the most beautiful capitals of Eastern Europe.
Spend your first evening exploring Kyiv’s main street of Kreschatyk with its many outdoor cafes & shops. Be sure to take it easy and have a relaxed day.
Enjoy the evening/night with our “Welcome to Ukraine Supper.”
Day 2
The (Golden) KVIV Delight Day
28th May (KYIV)
After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a tour of the golden-domed Kyiv.
The day continues with visits to the Independence Square, Verhkovna Rada, St. Vladymyrs Cathedral, Kyiv Opera Theatre, Red University, & Taras Shevchenko Monument.
Later in the afternoon/evening, we will visit the “Kyiv Pecherska Lavra” – Ukraine’s largest monastery and famous burial caves.
Day 3
29th May KYIV/CHERNIVTSI)
The Arts & Architecture
We continue touring Kyiv, beginning with the magnificent St. Sophia’s 11c.
Then, explore the world of arts & architecture further with guided visits to St. Andrews Church, Rastrelli’s masterpiece, Golden Gates, Museum of the Famine & many famous monuments and landmarks. Be sure to keep your cameras ready to click!
After lunch, you can enjoy some free time to shop on the tourist-friendly St. Andrew’s descent.
After dinner, board an overnight FIRST-CLASS evening train to the beautiful city of Chernivtsi.
Day 4
30th May (CHERNIVTSI)
The Walk Of Stars in
Little Vienna
Arrive early morning in Chernivtsi and transfer to your hotel, comfortably check in, and enjoy some delightful breakfast.
After resting for a while, we will depart for an early afternoon tour through Chernivtsi, which is famously known as the “Little Vienna” of Ukraine.
Chernivtsi is also well known for its beautiful architecture, stunning University, and historic city centre—which includes the famous walk of stars.
Close this delightful day by attending a classic Bukovynian performance by local artists.
Day 5
31st May (CHERNIVTSI/KAMIANETS PODILSKYJ/KHOTYN)
The Historic Castle & Fortress Day
After breakfast at your hotel, we travel to Kamianets Podilskyj—a World UNESCO Historic Site.
Today, we will also visit the Historic castle of Kamianets Podilsky and fortress of Khotyn.
Enjoy today’s lunch and dinner in Kamianets Podilskyj.
Day 6
1st Jun (CHERNIVTSI/ KOLOMYIA/YAREMCHA)
The Scenic Museum Day
After breakfast, we travel through a scenic route to Yaremcha with an enroute stop in Kolomyia. We will also visit the Pysanka Museum and the Ethnographic Museum.
Arrive in Yaremcha in the afternoon, check in to your hotel, and enjoy the beauty of the majestic Carpathians Mountains and the famous Yaremcha waterfall. Keep your cameras ready!
Enjoy scrumptious lunch and supper in Kolomyia.
Day 7
2nd Jun (YAREMCHE)
Open-Air Market Treasures
and Mountain Adventures
Today’s tour begins with some free time to visit the Yaremche Hutsul open air market and artisan bazaar. Be sure to soak in the culture and meet local artisans and purchase some of their incredible treasures.
In the night, we sample some local Hutsul music along with scrumptious delicacies of Shashlyk, Banosh and Samohonka.
Day 8
3rd Jun(YAREMCHE/IVANO FRANKIVSK)
See Baroque! Be Baroque!
Have breakfast at your hotel, then depart to the city of Ivano Frankivsk, located in the beautiful foothills of the Carpathians.
Ivano Frankivsk is a unique city and highly famous for its elegant baroque style of architecture that enchants its visitors.
In the afternoon, we go for a customized tour through the city of Ivano Frankivsk.
Have dinner at your hotel.
Day 9
4th Jun(IVANO FRANKIVSK/ UZHOROD)
Mountains, Grape Vines,
& Old Towns
After breakfast, we travel along a scenic route through the Carpathian Mountains and beautiful grape vine fields to Ukraine’s western most city of Uzhorod.
Witness the charming towns of Dolyna, Bolekhiv, and Strij along your journey.
Check in to your hotel at Uzhorod, get some rest, and enjoy your dinner.
Day 10
5th Jun (UZHOROD)
Time to Witness True
Slavic Magic
Built on the banks of the UZH River, this old Slavic city features an old castle, vineyards on hill sides, and many historical and architectural monuments.
Have breakfast at your hotel, and leave for a morning city tour (including a tour of the old castle) followed by an evening of exquisite wine tasting.
Day 11
6th Jun(UZHOROD/LVIV)
Live in LVIV!
Have breakfast at your hotel and depart to Ukraine’s most ancient city of Lviv. We will stop for lunch enroute.
Lviv is famous worldwide for its unique beauty, monuments, and vast variety of architectural styles.
The central part of Lviv, “The Old Town”, full of narrow cobbled stone streets, magnificent churches and lovely homes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon sightseeing the artisan bazaar and enjoying the panoramic view of Lviv from Vysokyj Zamok.
Day 12
7th Jun(LVIV)
Feel Alive in LVIV!
Today begins with a city-wide tour of this unspoiled jewel in Europe with our highly knowledgeable local guide. The tour includes the Independence Prospect, Ethnographic Museum, stunning Opera Theatre, Assumption Church, Italian Court, Market Square, and the Ancient Armenian Quarters & University.
Proposed evening at the theatre (subject to availability based on COVID-19 and crowd regulations at the time of tour).
Day 13
8th Jun(LVIV)
The Ancient LVIV!
Today, our sightseeing city tour continues with some of the more ancient parts of Lviv including the old drug store and armoury.
Enjoy your free time in the afternoon/evening with charming Lviv coffee houses, beautiful museums, shopping on the Prospect, or just laze around by yourself or with your fellow travelers.
You also have a unique opportunity to enjoy the Independence Day celebrations in Lviv.
Gather your thoughts and absorb the witnessed Lviv culture during dinner at your hotel.
Day 14
9th JunLVIV
Still Lviv’ing!
Today’s tour includes the historic Lychakivsky Cemetery and famous art bazaar.
Spend the afternoon with some free time to roam around the city, pick up some souvenirs, and meet new people.
Enjoy a well-planned evening farewell banquet.
Day 15
10th Jun(LVIV/HOME COUNTRY)
Back Home with a Warm Heart & Wide Smile!
Savour the final breakfast of your tour, click some pictures, say your goodbyes, and transfer to Lviv international airport to depart for your home country.
