The Ukrainian Christmas, and winter season in general, is definitely one of the best times in the year to visit the charming & buzzing country. Through our Christmas in Ukraine Tour, you will be able to witness the magical setting of the traditional & vibrant Ukrainian culture against a backdrop of historic sites and majestic snow-capped mountains & villages. Our exclusive Christmas Tour is enchantingly designed so you can witness all of the festivities of the season and end-of-the-year celebrations come to life!

Day 1

4th Jan (HOME COUNTRY/ LVIV)

The First Flight // Take-Off

Depart your home country for one of Ukraine’s premier cities Lviv. All meals will be served on the aircraft.

Do we also give them a travel kit with an itinerary, information pamphlets, or a first aid kit?

Day 2

5th Jan (LVIV)

LVIV All the Way!

Land in Lviv airport and transfer to your hotel.

Lviv is famous worldwide for its unique beauty, monuments, and vast variety of architectural styles.

The central part of Lviv, “The Old Town”, full of narrow cobbled stone streets, magnificent churches and lovely homes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon, we will explore the Historic City Centre.

Day 3

6th Jan (LVIV)

Live in LVIV

Today begins with a city-wide tour of this unspoiled jewel in Europe with our highly knowledgeable local guide. The tour includes the Independence Prospect, Ethnographic Museum, stunning Opera Theatre, Assumption Church, Italian Court, Market Square, and the Ancient Armenian Quarters & University.

Spend the afternoon sightseeing at the artisan bazaar and enjoy the panoramic view of Lviv from Vysokyj Zamok.

Proposed evening at the theatre (subject to availability based on COVID-19 and crowd regulations at the time of tour).

Day 4

7th Jan (LVIV)

LVIV Your Christmas Eve!

Witness the preparations of your thoughtfully planned & crafted Christmas Eve dinner.

Arrive early, check into your hotel (RIUS), relax, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, and depart on a full-day tour with your entertaining and knowledgeable guide to explore Lviv.

Suggested dinner at the Famous Krajivka restaurant. Post dinner, you can either continue exploring and enjoying the buzzing nightlife – as the old town comes to life or get some beauty sleep back at the hotel.

Day 5

8th Jan (LVIV)

Jolly GREAT Christmas in
LVIV!

Enjoy Ukrainian-Style Christmas Day celebrations in Lviv’s historic downtown. Witness the amazing Vertep competition. Verteps are traditional nativity plays performed enthusiastically by Lviv’s youth.

Then, enjoy some free time to explore the buzzing Christmas bazaar and pedestrian-friendly city of Lviv.

Later in the day, attend the “Great Carol” Festival at the Dominican Cathedral and the Fire performance known as “Christmas Feeria” at the entrance of City Hall.

In the evening, warm yourself up with visits to some of the many charming L’viv coffee houses. Oh yes! The people in Lviv love their coffee!

Day 6

9th Jan (LVIV)

The Ancient LVIV Day!

We continue with the sightseeing tour starting with the ancient and mighty St. George’s Cathedral, the old drug store, armoury, and historic Lychakivsky Cemetery.

In the Afternoon, we attend the famous Pampushok Festival or Doughnut Festival at Rynok Square where you can take part in some unique contests and games.

Day 7

10th Jan (YAREMCHE)

Time for Some Mountain
Magic!

After breakfast at your hotel, we depart for the beautiful and snow-capped Carpathians Mountain ranges.

Today, we celebrate Ukrainian Christmas traditional style with locals in a Hutsul Village. Experience some traditional fare, sing ecstatic carols, and truly live some of the traditions passed down from the early generations.

Day 8

11th Jan (BUKOVEL)

Adventure Sports in the
SNOW!

Today, we experience the adventure life from the Ukraine Premier Ski and Winter Resort.

Some of today’s activities include skiing, visiting the winter fair, ice-skating, dogsledding, food & drinks at the ice hotel, and more! Participate in as many activities as you can or want to soak in the goodness of this winter wonderland!

In the evening, we transfer to Ivanofrankivsk for an overnight train to Kyiv.

Day 9

12th Jan (KYIV)

The (Golden) KYIV
Delight Day

Arrive early in the morning and transfer to Ukrajina hotel in Kyiv – the 1500-year-old capital city of Ukraine. Kyiv is a city rich in architectural and historical sites and is one of the most beautiful capitals of Eastern Europe.

After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a tour of the golden-domed Kyiv.

The tour begins with visits to the Independence Square, Verhkovna Rada, St. Vladymyrs Cathedral, Kyiv Opera Theatre, Golden Gate (the main triumphal entrance of ancient Kyiv), Red University, & Taras Shevchenko Monument.

In the evening, we explore Kyiv’s main street of Kreschatyk with its many outdoor cafes & shops.

Day10

13th Jan (KYIV)

The Arts & Architecture
Day!

We continue touring Kyiv, beginning with the magnificent St. Sophia’s 11c.

Then, explore the world of arts & architecture further with guided visits t Golden Gates, Museum of the Famine, St. Archangel Michael’s Golden Domes Monastery built in 12th century, & many other famous monuments and landmarks. Be sure to keep your cameras ready to click!

Day 11

14th Jan (KYIV)

Art, Craft, Shopping, & the Orthodox Faith Experience!

Have your breakfast and enjoy some free time to shop on the tourist friendly St. Andrew’s descent (Andriyivsky Uzviz) which is the most ancient and steep street in Kyiv. Andriyivsky Uzviz features several art galleries, shops, and studios making it a wonderful stop to get your hands on some Ukrainian artwork and craft.

After shopping, we head to see the spectacular five domed St. Andrews Church and Bartolomeo Rastrelli’s architectural masterpiece.

Later in the Afternoon, we visit the Kyiv Pecherska Lavra (11th–19th century), Ukraine’s largest active monastery and sacred place for people of the Orthodox faith. Visit its cathedrals, museums, and exhibitions along with a tour of the underground burial caves.

Day 12

15th Jan (KYIV)

Back Home with a Warm
Heart & Wide Smile!

Savour the final breakfast of your tour, click some pictures, say your goodbyes, and transfer to Borispol Airport in Kyiv to depart for your home country.

Don’t forget to collect all your belongings, gifts, souvenirs, and other collectibles from your trip.
